My interest in acupuncture and holistic ways of viewing the body began around 20 years ago whilst deepening my understanding of Eastern martial arts and meditation. The philosophy underlying internal martial arts, Qi Gong and meditation are very similar to basic principles in Chinese medicine, that is how the mind and body work as a whole.
Coupling this with a strong interest in human biology and an increasing dissatisfaction of how pharmaceutical medicine creates often worse side effects, acupuncture has been the ideal career choice. It is worth pointing out though that from studying medicine, I fully appreciate the need for pharmaceutical treatments and will work with you as a patient to explore what is best for you.
I currently devote my time to my family, deepening my understanding of acupuncture, meditation and Yoga.
