Clinic re-opening with new Covid Safe regulations
From the 4th July I am welcoming all existing and new patients back to my practice. There will be some changes to meet professional standards and ensure safety for patients and practitioner in this post lockdown Covid environment.
The following precautions have been implemented:
In advance of face to face treatment patients will be contacted to confirm no Covid-19 like symptoms, contact with persons with Covid-19 and to identify vulnerable group patients.
Practitioner will use appropriate PPE. This includes face mask and gloves, Visor for close up diagnosis (such as tongue) and apron when appropriate.
Regular hand washing. Soap and alcohol gel will be available and patients will be asked to wash hands on entering the clinic.
Longer gaps between patients to allow a deep clean of the clinic and disinfection of all contact points. Also to avoid contact between patients.
Couch covers have been removed to allow proper cleaning between patients. Each patient will have new clean pillow cases.
Although toilet facilities are available, patients are asked to avoid using if possible.
New patients will be asked to do the main symptom questions over the phone or email form to reduce face to face contact.
I am committed to providing a safe environment for all patients and appreciate your understanding in these different times.
